Prayer for Singapore
Dear heavenly Father
I pray right now for the nation of Singapore, against the spirit of fear, the feelings of panic, fear, despair and all these negative thoughts and feelings.
Jesus, I declare that Your name is greater than all these things. I declare that Your name is greater than fear, greater than corona virus, greater than death, that Your name has power of healing, Your name brings peace which surpasses all understanding, that Your name will give us sound minds, that Your name is able to bring love into our hearts, and Your perfect love will cast out all fear.
Father right now I declare Your word over the land of Singapore, that as I make this declaration, Your word which endures forever and has power of the Holy Spirit, shall cast away all fear and evil from this land of Singapore.
- 2 Tim 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
Father, I pray against the spirit of fear, I pray against the spirit of confusion, I pray against the spirit of despair. I pray that You give us power, love and a sound mind to deal with this coronavirus, that Your healing power will be upon the land. Jesus I pray that Your great love flow into the hearts of all those who are sick, that You have mercy and compassion upon them and save them, and that You also be with their families in this difficult time. I pray that You be with them, that Your presence is felt by them, that You will assure them of Your great love, that You are greater than any sickness or disease or virus. Father I also pray for Your people to have a protected and sound mind, that they will not walk around in fear but be still and calm, and that Your peace will rule and reign in this land. That every Christian shall pray Phil 4:6-7 in their hearts, that they will pray to You whenever they feel fear or anxious, and Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard their hearts and minds in the name of Jesus Christ!
- Prov 1:33 "But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil."
- Psalm 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?"
I continue to pray against fear, Jesus, Your perfect love for us shall cast out every fear. Let us be shining light in this time of darkness, that Your power will be demonstrated in amazing ways, that healings will take place, not just physical healings but also emotional and spiritual healings. Help us to proclaim to others, do not be afraid, the Lord is the strength of my life.
- Psalm 55:2 "Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved."
- Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
As we gather in groups to pray before You, Holy Spirit you be with us and empower us, remind us of our mission, remind us of the peace of God which is freely available to us, that You will gift Your peace to us, and this peace will guard our hearts and minds, that when people speak out in fear, we will not retort with harsh words, but will speak out in faith, that Jesus Christ is able to see us through every situation, and we will continue to pray the name of Jesus over this nation, because only through Your name can people be saved, can healings take place and miracles can happen.
- 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
- Peter 5:6-7 “Humble yourselves, then, under God’s mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time. Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.”
- Pslams 91:1-16 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

As I declare Psalms 91 over Singapore, Father I shall sing praises to Your name. In the midst of the fear and panic and sickness, I sing praises to Your name. Because Your name is great, and greatly to be praised.
That no matter the circumstances, no matter what happens, You are in control. Your name still reigns supreme, and as we worship You, as I worship You, I know that You will do a mighty work in this land, casting out all fear, so that Your people will turn away from sin and fear, that they might turn to You in this troubled time.
Lord, as I continue to sing praises and worship to Your mighty name, You send the Holy Spirit out, send our Your angels, to defeat the devil and his minions, that Your angels shall stand watch over this city of Singapore whom You love, that You will empower all those in the medical field who are working and fighting to develop a cure or vaccine, that You will empower them with strength of the Lord, with the wisdom of the Lord, that they will do their work without fear or apprehension, but will be strengthened in the body and spirit, that You protect all the healthcare workers from getting sick or from getting burn out.
Father thank You for waking me up to pray this prayer to You, I believe that when the whole Singapore wakes up tomorrow, the haze of fear will be lifted and removed, that Your wisdom and understanding will fall upon everyone once again. I know that You will use Singapore mightily in the last days to impact the world, that You will use us to reach out to the nations and to spread the gospel, and that we will all perform mighty works in Your name, such that the multitudes will know that it is not by the flesh that we are able to do all these things, but it is only by Your name, by Your Holy Spirit and power, that many signs and wonders will be done, and Jesus, You will come down to Asia and rule and reign in the hearts of every man, woman and child. That whatever the devil has meant for evil, You will turn it around for Your purpose. Make us stronger each day, physically, emotionally, spiritually, as we declare Your Word and Your promises daily, empower us oh Lord I pray.
We thank You in advance for what You are able to do, what You are about to do in the coming few months, that through it all, We will praise You and worship You and give thanks to You despite the circumstances, that as the land gets darker around us, that You and Your children, will be the light of the world and shine ever brighter, and serve as a beacon of hope to this land.
Let us remember and declare that today is the day which the Lord has made, and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. Let praise be a powerful weapon which we can use in this day.
